This is Mr Chaos' tut.I just moved it to this section because I get tired of searching for it
How to extend a truck.
1. Choose the truck that you will extend.(for this I used my scania)
2. Make a copy of that truck (so if it go wrong, then you have a copy)
3. select the truck that you will extend you truck with (for this I used the ws)
4. go into the truck you are using to extend with (ws in my case.) copy the base folder.
5. paste it into the truck folder that you are extending (scania in my case)
well now we got so far, the reason for this where to replace the frame of the truck, but it's not over yet.
6. go back to the folder of the truck you are using to extend with (ws) and go into the
shared folder, you need all the files that begin with ws etc. ws.png, ws.shd and ws.tobj
also the gloss files, ws_gloss.shd, tobj and png copy those files.
7. paste those files into the shared folder of the truck you are extending (scania)
Right about now you could go into the game and choose showroom, and you'll that the cabin
don't match with the frame of the truck, but don't worry (be happy -LOL-) that we will take
care of now.
8. Go into the cabin folder of the truck that you are extending (scania) and open the !desc file.
9. there is a } in the end of the file, anything that you put into the file before that wil be loaded
anything after that won't, so befor that mark write etc. offset:<10 10 10>
10. that is the cordinate for the cabin, where is should be on the truck, the first number
is to from side to side, the way I have wrote the numbere is in the possitive side of the scale
If I had wrote -10 instead it would be in the negative end of the scale.
The seccond number is to lower or heigher the cabin, the same here with the numbers.
The third number is to move the cabin back and forward, and the same here with the numbers.
11. now you have to play a little with the numbers until you got it right and it's there you
want it to be.
12. when that's done the truck should be done as you like it to be, then there is just that
you might wanna give it a diffrent color, but that's an another tutorial.

Change name to frame changing and Then you should add lil more...like the acc got move them to fit where ya moved cab...Easy way to do that is take the new cabin offset...Subtract the old...Then add the number ya get to all the acc and they should be right n place same for lights
(reply from MrChaos)
Yeah that you could do, but I tried that, and it doesn't work as it should, you have to find out how much you have moved the cabin and then add the 2 numbers together in all the other part that are in the acc folder.
